Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPATop Iranian Scientist makes flying visit to IPA
The “Coating systems and painting technology” department was delighted to receive a visitor from Iran yesterday. Prof. Zahra Ranjbar, Head of the Institute for Color Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran, viewed the laboratories, including the painting lines, and discussed cooperation possibilities with IPA scientists.

Student exchange programs were said to be of particular interest. Ranjbar had already met IPA Group Leader Markus Cudazzo in 2016 at a powder paint seminar held at Tafresh University. In terms of their thematic focus, the research institutions have much in common. Prof. Ranjbar’s return visit could represent the first step towards a long-term collaboration.
