- Irreversible marking
Irreversible marking concepts using intrinsic laser marking and invisible IR inks.
- Protective coatings
Modular protective coating concept for increasing the resistance of coatings to various environmental influences. The concept is based on different but combinable protective particles, for example for corrosion or UV protection, which can be specifically mixed by the paint manufacturer to suit the respective environmental influences and requirements.
- Photocatalysis
Photocatalytically active coatings are used to functionalize surfaces. They can be utilized, for example, as facade paints to purify the air and / or self-clean surfaces. UV light is used to activate the photocatalysts contained in the coating, thus triggering a reaction that breaks down pollutants or contaminants.
- Corrosion protection
Through our research work in this field, we develop corrosion protection concepts based on surface pretreatment processes that are adapted to material requirements. We also apply optimal layer structures with the aim of minimizing the use of materials while simultaneously achieving high resistance to corrosion (durability). The focus of our work is on metallic substrates.

- Overspray-free coating
The MikroCoat paint shop is a special facility for applying coatings selectively without the need for masking. Thanks to precise robot technology, a variety of modules can be used to apply spot coatings or coatings to sharply defined areas.
