  • Using a systematic process and our out-of-the-box thinking approach, we pinpoint innovation issues early on and jointly develop investment theses, thus helping our customers to identify investment opportunities and review potential investment targets.

  • We assist our customers in evaluating the digitization potential of investment targets (technical due diligence) in a wide range of industries (e.g. automotive, energy, healthcare & life sciences, mechanical & plant engineering, electronics & microsystems). To this end, we draw on the know-how and specific industry experience of 76 institutes and research facilities within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

  • We offer a broad spectrum of consulting services, ranging from the identification of digitization levers in order to increase company value (e.g. innovative business model development, product-service innovations, operational excellence in manufacturing and logistics, end-to-end and automated processes in HR, procurement, finance, sales) right up to the development of a value-driven digitization strategy and the comprehensive development and implementation of high-tech digitization applications for products and processes of portfolio companies. This goes hand in hand with fundamentally restructuring processes, workflows and IT architectures, as well as ensuring the respective organizational requirements. If necessary, we orchestrate the high-tech providers in the Fraunhofer ecosystem and jointly research the implementation of innovation cases to generate sustainable competitive advantages. Depending on the objective and scope, we focus on the levers that have the largest and fastest impact on the portfolio company's performance, while taking sustainability and environmental factors into account at the same time.
