For a fully automated painting process up to batch size 1, scientists in the research project "SelfPaint" develop a self-programming painting cell. 3D object detection, painting simulations and terahertz measurement are to be flexible and resource-saving paint application.

The sensor mat for standing workplaces, developed by the Fraunhofer IPA in cooperation with Isoloc, records the foot position of an employee and detects weight shifts.
